APPLE GALETTE
Ingredients :
1 roll Empire Puff Pastry Sheet (defrosted)
3 apples (preferably local Granny Smithpeeled and thinly sliced)
2 tbsp sugar (any type)
2 tbsp melted butter
Method :
Step 1 : Preheat oven to 180˚C
Step 2 : Place pastry sheet on lined baking tray and score all 4 edges of the pastry (using a small sharp knife and a ruler cut a line 1cm all the way around the pastry sheet to make a border)
Step 3 : Place the apples, overlapping, on the top of the pastry (inside the cut edges). Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with sugar.
Step 4 : Bake for 20-25 mins until the pastry is puffed, crisp and golden.Serve warm or cold.
